Hi All,
Considering buying a Signia soon. When using a second set of rims with appropriate TPMS, will these require a learning process at the dealer or will it automatically be recognized?
Thanks!

Yes, they will need programming. I have not found anyone who knows what rims to sell me For a winter tire set. Tire rack said they don’t have the measurements needed yet. I’m betting the crown wheels are the same. Not going to chance it though. If you find some post where you found them please. Toyota’s are way too expensive, $400+ each before tpms.

Found it - Toyota calls it "registering" and not learning. Good news is it accommodates 2 sets of wheels. TPMS frequency is 315 MHz, so Crown wheels will fit no problem. I plan on getting 18 " or 19" for my winter wheel set-up from Tire Rack.
Here is the procedure for registering per owner's manual:

Update: Turns out my Crown Signia use 433 MhZ sensors and not the 315 Mhz that the 24 Crown model uses. So, unfortunately I got the wrong sensors 😩
Hope this helps someone else avoid the same problem when ordering winter tires and wheels.

How did you determine that Toyota has switched from 315hz to 433Mhz sensors? As far as I know, Toyota has used the 315 Mhz sensors for a LONG time. This is a major change if it is across the entire lineup!

Did the swap on ‘25 CS. Used 19” XLE wheels with holiday sale prices paid $360/wheel delivered to the house and tires from tire rack another $900/set. Autel MX dual frequency sensors. Had to clone by OBD with 508 tool using Crown setting on 433mhz selection. Tried learning with random new codes initially from 508 tool, but car wasn’t seeing after 30 min of driving…. So went clone original from OBD and set back tire set 1. Recognized in 400 ft from the driveway….

Yeah...I tried building wheel / tire sets through Tire Rack and they had no data yet for the CS. Part number sleuthing said Crown Sedan XLE and Crown Signia XLE wheel are identical P/N's, so fitment data for wheels for a Crown Sedan would work. However, they wouldn't or couldn't sell me set with a deliberate 433Mhz sensor install since they hadn't gotten a car in yet. So, when I found the deal on the OE wheel, I went that route and pieced the set together and had a local guy do the mount/balance. Ended up about $600 more for the total set than the random aftermarket wheel from Tire Rack. Anyhow, wife is happy or at least more confident driving with the snow flying ...
