He mentioned the adhesive is a little weak.. if you can get 3M or industrial strength double tape, it will be a lot better.

 

If there are any enhancements between the 2023 and 2024 Crowns in the US, I hope the Crown badges do make their way over here. They look so cool

That’s a $250 emblem.

 

I'm looking into buying the whole part that the emblem rests on with that Crown logo, but I can't find one online that doesn't look like someone used it as a darn hockey stick...

Like just LOOK how cool that looks... Please Toyota, let's make this accessible to the US 😭

Yeah I just get worried that popping off the current emblem will damage the clearcoat below. I would much rather get the whole part and replace that. Plus I can go back at a later date if I want to.

I did research on these crown emblem and really like the previous model .

I order it and it should be here by the end of the month.
I think it looks more prestige than the new black one.

 

I did remove the front Toyota emblem and actually really like it ...

It somewhat looks similar to Lucid

I like it too at first but I just got the Japanese crown emblem and it looks cool..

 

I love it! Toyota should make that available to NA customers. I think it would help give the Crown a unique image with the general public and may help improve its popularity.

That's y I bought the rear japanese Crown emblem as well.. It looks better than the OEM toyota..

 

I used a small flat head screw driver.. wrap it around with the fiber tower to prevent damages then kind of slide that into the slot between toyota emblem and fry it open a little.

You can see that the double tape start to peel off a little and create a small gap.. Use the second small flat head with fiber tower and put it in the gap.

There is a chance that whole black assembly comes off.. don't worry that will make your job easier .. you can remove the emblem and snap it back on....
I bought the old classic crown logo and it's bigger than the slot. I had to use the dremmel tool to make it smaller so it can fit..
If i do it again, i will go with the emblem below:

It fits perfectly in the slot without modification. You can buy this on ebay for around $45.

It does look really good @doughboy74! Congrats and welcome to the forum! Was the emblem easy to install? How long have you had your Crown?

 

I have a white rear crown emblem like the one above but would really like a black oval crown emblem for my back hood..... any idea where I can purchase one (johlarry@gmail.com)

 

For the rear, I use a small flat head screwdriver but wrap the tip with 3m tape so it doesn’t scratch the car. This will either remove the logo or whole assembly. Don’t worry if you remove the assembly, press it back on with a little pressure and it will snap right on.
