Average MPG display settings

Nope, this is Toyota's way of doing things. I've never owned a vehicle that did what your describing, but I do like the concept.

So… Every car I’ve owned would give fuel economy for “Trip A” or ”Trip B” so that for example if I would take a long drive with multiple stops for fuel and food etc., so long as I didn’t reset Trip A or Trip B it would keep calculating. Seems in the Crown Signia the only two options are 1) “Trip Average“ which means if I stop to refuel it resets when I shut the car off (IOW no relation to Trip A or Trip B) or 2) “Total Average” which calculates fuel economy per the odometer for the life of the car (no way to reset). At 10 min into the video above he goes through this but doesn’t explain what Trip Average and Total Average means.Is there a way to have it calculate Trip A or Trip B average?
